Why Single Control?

Payment infrastructure
with accountable support.

A payment service needs to work when a case requires review, as well as when transactions run normally. We combine shared records with named responsibility for decisions and a route to discuss the evidence.

We also document the full programme cost and the work involved in integration or a later change of provider.

The Single Control difference

Shared records across the programme

Separate wallet, onboarding and payment systems leave your team reconciling information between providers. Our wallet and compliance services use the same back-end, with APIs that make programme records available to your systems.

Your team can follow transaction records without coordinating separate providers.

A named person to handle your case

An unresolved review can delay a launch or payment. You have a named contact who explains what is needed, an escalation route and an agreed time for the next update.

You know who to contact when a case needs attention.

A review that considers new evidence

A record may not explain the business reason for a transaction. We listen to your context and consider whether further evidence changes the assessment. We look for a lawful way to proceed before declining and explain decisions where permitted.

You can ask for reconsideration. Required restrictions still apply.

A view of the full programme cost

Platform charges alone do not show what a programme costs. During scoping, we identify payment network fees, FX and review costs alongside our charges.

You can assess the margin using the costs and assumptions that affect it.

An integration plan that includes exit

We plan the API connections around your existing systems and document data access and external dependencies. We also work through what moving balances and records would involve if you changed providers.

You understand the technical work and contractual limits before committing.

Make the difference concrete

Questions to ask before you commit.

Work through these questions with us during scoping. The answers belong in the programme agreement.

Explore the platform
  • Who owns a decision?Named roles, authority, escalation and the next update.
  • How is new evidence considered?A clear route for dialogue and reassessment where possible.
  • What does the full programme cost?Platform, payment rails, FX and risk-related components.
  • How do our systems stay connected?API access and the requirement for compliance programme transactions to reach and be stored in our back-end first.
  • What does changing providers involve?Data exports, balances, contractual rights and regulatory constraints.
The experience behind the idea

What we learned
at Vopy.

Vopy had a finished money-transfer product but spent time finding a suitable regulatory arrangement. That experience showed us the cost of coordinating providers and waiting for decisions. It informed the Single Control service model.
